MSc Ocean Science, Conservation & Innovation
In their last semester, students conduct their end-of-study internship of 6 months (thesis) on a subject and/or with a supervisor different from the immersion project. The master thesis can be done with public or private institutions for research, conservation, industrial and/or innovation objectives, and must follow a scientific hypothesis-oriented approach.

Students should
- apply theoretical knowledge to practical and real-world problems in ocean science, effectively integrating academic learning with professional work
- deepen their technical and scientific knowledge in a specific area of ocean science, conservation, or innovation, under the guidance of their supervisor and through the execution of a hypothesis-driven research project
- develop strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to adapt to new challenges and environments
- manage their project tasks and deadlines, showing reliability and a professional approach to conducting scientific research and/or development tasks
- develop strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders in a professional environment
