MSc Ocean Science, Conservation & Innovation
NEWS: OFFICIAL UNOC SIDE EVENT "MARRES AROUND THE WORLD"
What happens when you bring together students, alumni, young researchers, and ocean professionals from across the globe… for 24 hours straight?
As part of UNOC 2025, we organized an official side event like no other: a 24-hour live relay, following the sun across all time zones.
This collaborative initiative is driven by Université Côte d’Azur and the MARRES program, designed to spotlight the voices, work, and perspectives of emerging ocean leaders. Across 25 sessions, we explore the many faces of ocean sustainability through roundtables, short videos, and dynamic exchanges.
► UNOC official broadcast on June 4
Sessions have been recorded live during our 24h Tour du Monde on May 23-24 and are already available.
Connect Ocean & Society
In a world that is finally beginning to understand the importance of the Ocean in our lives, it is essential that scientific and socio-economic stakeholders learn to work together. The MSc MARRES was designed in response to the recent evolution of the job market due to the emergence of Blue Growth worldwide. Our interdisciplinary and international master's programs equip students with knowledge, skills, and network to enter research, conservation, consultancy firms, and develop their own innovation opportunities.
