The MARRES Research Institute
The Marine Resources Research Federating Institute (IFR) aims to bring together the multidisciplinary skills of the Université Côte d'Azur for the functional understanding, security and sustainable development of marine resources. Covering a broad spectrum, from marine resource conservation to well-being and health, this IFR is a virtual entity made up of five founding research units (ECOSEAS, GREDEG, ICN, IRCAN, LADIE) but which may in the future include all the university's research units with part of their research teams working on marine resource issues.
Teachers & partners
A large part of the MARRES program instructors are professors and researchers at Université Côte d'Azur, within the Marine Resource Research Institute, which brings together all the teams working on the sea at UCA (ecology, biology, chemistry, law and economics), as well as from other French and international universities.
