- Boosting cooperation and international standing throughout the Mediterranean Arc
Université Côte d’Azur has joined forces with its Italian partners to organize and run cross-border activities in education and research excellence.

Our policy in the South and the French-speaking world
As Vice-Chair for our Policy in the South, Université Côte d’Azur supports the development of research and education activities in conjunction with other universities and research institutions in the Intertropical Zone and around the Mediterranean. As such, we want to encourage sharing knowledge and expertise for the benefit of science and innovation. This takes for the form of bilateral partnerships including, for example,
- Vietnam (Da Nang),
- India (Bangalore),
- Chili (Santiago),
- and the Caribbean (Haiti).
Université Côte d’Azur is also extending its cooperation ventures in the South by helping organize higher education networks, particularly with the Franco-Tunisian University of Africa and the Mediterranean (UFTAM).
An international dimension for all
Developing innovative and integrative international projects helps incoming and outgoing exchanges for all, students and staff alike. Université Côte d’Azur runs courses in foreign languages, builds its networks and participation in numerous university exchange programs and supports outgoing exchange initiatives.
For those who cannot take part in a physical exchange program, the university develops virtual exchanges with special partner universities, in Europe and worldwide.
International campuses dedicated to applied research and innovation
Université Côte d’Azur is involved in establishing an international campus venture to promote scientific developments, education and innovation at the following campuses:
- Balkan Institute of Science and Innovation, in Montenegro,
- Da Nang International Institute of Technology, in Vietnam
- Franco-Tunisian University of Africa and the Mediterranean, in Tunisia.
These campuses must meet specific societal and regional challenges in their host countries.
