Université Côte d'Azur intends to mobilize its entire scientific community to wholeheartedly embark on an open science path, in line with the national for open science of July 2018, the recommendations of the Coordination of French Intensive Research Universities and taking into account the CNRS roadmap for open science of November 18, 2019.

Open access to publications

With the support of its Common Documentation Office (SCD) helps its members to file their publications on HAL

The SCD also offers researchers and research professors an editing tool within HAL.

Université Côte d'Azur supports some 15 electronic journals from its research units in humanities and social sciences that offer free access to full-text publications without embargo: Electronic University Journals

Open research data

Université Côte d'Azur invites its researchers to open up their data while ensuring that the  F.A.I.R. principles are respected (easy to Find, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) thanks to the tools provided by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information.

Developing Open Science Skills

In close collaboration with URFIST PACA, Université Côte d'Azur is working to disseminate knowledge and develop skills in open science. It supports scientific meetings around open science, such as Open Science Week

Science ouverte et évaluation

In accordance with the recommendations of the Conference of University Presidents of 14 May 2020, Université Côte d'Azur has introduced the criterion of open science in assessing research professors and research units.

Promoting open science in international collaboration

Université Côte d'Azur is a partner in the  MINERVA project (Strengthening research management and open science capacities in Higher Education Institutions in Moldova and Armenia).
