Project funded by Academy 3 in 2026

"FIRST" PROJECTS

Thanks to the "First" call for projects that Academy 3 launched in 2026 in order to support innovative research projects that contribute intensively to one or more of its four priority themes, 2 projects were supported for a total of €13,300.

  • B. Blanc (INPHYNI) : CHENERME - Energy efficiency of chemomechanical machines
  • F. Bigot-Cormier (GEOAZUR) : REGARD-EAU - RElations, Gouvernance, Attitudes et Représentations de la Dynamique de l’EAU – Comprendre et améliorer la relation des habitants de Yaoundé, Cameroun, à la ressource en eau (perceptions, usages et gouvernance citoyenne)

CONSORTIUM PROJECTS

As part of its call for "Consortium" projects aimed at intensifying collaborative and transdisciplinary approaches, Academy 3 has funded 2 large-scale project, for a total amount of €100,000.
 

  • I. Manighetti (GEOAZUR), F. Lafarge (INRIA), E. Di Bernardino (LJAD) : FAILLES - Federating AI, maths, and geosciences to decipher Large earthquake fauLt networks in Earth Surface images
  • D. Mercerat (GEOAZUR) : MONITOR-IA - Monitoring the dynamic response of cultural heritage monuments using advanced machine learning 

SCIENTIFIC ANIMATION PROJECTS

As parts of its "Fil de l'eau" dedicated to scientific animations, the Academy has already co-financed 3 events:

  • N. Jourdainne (ICN) : JMJC2026 - Journées Méditerranéennes des Jeunes Chercheurs 2026
  • J.-P. Ampuero (GEOAZUR) : Second School on Subduction Zone Processes
  • M. Otolani (ERMES) : L’eau dans l’histoire des Alpes-Maritimes, enjeux sociétaux, juridiques et politiques
