Sophia Antipolis is Europe’s leading technopole in an exceptional natural environment with a geographical size of 2,400 hectares. 
Sophia-Antipolis is a 2400Ha technology park situated on the protected forested hills dominating the French-riviera (20km from the Nice airport). It relies on the concept of cross-fertilisation between research, education and companies.

PUBLIC HOUSING


Centre International de Valbonne housing

The International Centre of Valbonne (CIV) offers student rooms between 360 to 460 euros per month. Be careful, prices change every year.
This is very close to the Sophia Antipolis Campus and about 40 minutes by bus from Nice.

This includes:

- A private room (bed, sink, desk & closet) - internet is available

- A common bathroom

- Weekly cleaning

- Breakfast & dinner during weekdays + breakfast, lunch & dinner during the weekend

- Sport facilities

PUBLIC HOUSING

CROUS : In Higher Education in France the Centre régional des oeuvres universitaires et scolaires is a regional organisation providing university halls of residence, foreigner students reception, student scholarships, student's cultural activities, and student restaurants. It is a regional body for university student support.

 The CROUS of Nice has 10 residences in Nice. Some residences offer housing of different sizes ranging from a university room (9 m²) to a studio (20 m²). There are public student residences.

All types of accommodation are furnished and equipped with internet connection.

To apply for university accommodation, you must establish a Student Social File (Dossier Social Etudiant= DSE) online on the CROUS web site and follow their procedures.

However, a request for CROUS accommodation is also possible during the year. Obtaining housing from CROUS is not guaranteed.
