The 3IA Côte d’Azur Institute is one of the four «Interdisciplinary Institute for Artificial Intelligence» labelled in 2019 by the French Government. The institute is coordinated by Université Côte d’Azur in partnership with majorhigher education and research partners : CNRS, Inria, INSERM, EURECOM and SKEMA Business School.
The project is also supported by MINES ParisTech, the Nice University Hospital, INRAE, local authorities and, at project start, by 62 companies.
The 3IA Institute possesses 4 research axes :
- Core elements of AI
- AI for integrative computational medicine
- AI for computational biology and bio-inspired AI
- AI for smart and secure territories
Its ambition is to make AI expertise and tools available to academia, companies, and the community, in order to have a significant impact in terms of economic value.
Thanks to its dual expertise in academic research and in innovation with companies, 3IA Côte d’Azur federates different actors of the territory: academia, industry and local authorities.
The MSc Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is certified by the 3IA. The label certify the excellence of a program and that at least 50 % of the courses are dedicated to AI.
