Certificat d'initiation à la recherche
THE PROGRAM
This certificate includes 3 teaching units and is spread throughout semesters 4, 5 and 6 of the Economics-Management Portal. The certificate is granted if all three teaching units are successfully completed.
The program includes conferences and seminars held in semesters 4 and 5 and organized within the EUR ELMI or the GREDEG Laboratory. For students, their attendance at these events is mandatory. At the end of the semester, students must submit a written summary of one of the lectures chosen. This report will be graded. In semester 6, students take three core courses available in English.
IMMERSION IN RESEARCH
Students may, if the capacity of GREDEG allows it, carry out a one-month internship following their exams in semester 6. This internship, supervised by a research professor from the laboratory, will focus on a research question defined in advance by the student and the professor (literature review, creation of a database, etc.). The student may also participate in the preparation or organization of an event within the laboratory (conference, workshop). The student commits to remain at the laboratory for the complete duration of the contract. At the end of the internship, the student submits an internship report that will be evaluated by his/her professor and will result in a grade.
The student can also write a research paper to explore and deepen his or her interest in a subject. The exact theme of the thesis must be defined in agreement with the research professor in charge of its supervision.
Whether for the internship or the thesis, the document submitted will be evaluated by the professor and given a grade.
