Our Program
Two Distinct Tracks for a Comprehensive Industry Insight
Our program, conducted entirely in English, offers a unique blend of practical and theoretical learning. Located across the Nice Campus Valrose and the Grasse Campus, it provides an immersive educational experience. Each academic year is divided between a semester of classes and a 4 to 6-month internship.
Science Track: A Two-Year Deep Dive into the Chemistry of Flavors and Fragrances
- Duration: 2 Years (Full Program Commitment Required). Applications for the 1st year only.
- Focus: This track delves into the chemistry underlying the flavor and fragrance industry. It combines practical laboratory work and theoretical classes in formulation and chemical analysis, among other science-related topics.
- Broadened Perspective: Despite its scientific focus, the track also includes essential courses in Marketing and Management, providing a well-rounded understanding of the industry.
Marketing Track: A One-Year Intensive on Industry Dynamics
- Duration: 1 Year (Entry Directly into the Second Year)
- Focus: This track is tailored for those with a keen interest in the business side of the fragrance and flavor industry, concentrating on Marketing and Management.
- Foundational Knowledge: To ensure a holistic industry perspective, the track also includes introductory courses in the basic chemistry of flavors and fragrances, as well as the regulations.
Interdisciplinary Approach:
Both tracks are designed with an interdisciplinary teaching approach, equipping students with the expertise and skills needed to excel in various aspects of the flavor and fragrance industry. Whether your interest lies in the intricate science of scent and taste or the strategic aspects of marketing and management, our program offers a path to become a well-informed and skilled professional in this fascinating field.
REMINDER
- Our program is about fragrances and flavors (not cosmetics)
- Our program is not a perfumery school and will train you on the chemistry of flavors and fragrances, not on the creation of fine fragrance. Basics of olfaction, tasting and formulation will be provided, but this is not the core of our degree.
