Eight graduate schools (EURs) have been created to synergistically connect different components of Université Cote d'Azur, its members, and partners. The graduate schools are reinforcing excellence in interdisciplinary research and are driving graduate education in connection with research.
The IDEX has added a series of transdisciplinary MScs to the existing catalog. These programs are taught in English, orientated toward international students and thus contribute to the international visibility of Université Cote d'Azur. Developed by UCAJEDI, these MScs will be further integrated with Université Côte d'Azur's education programs. Hybrid approaches to teaching are a founding principle of these MSc programs which prioritize innovation in teaching and digital transformation.

Invent@UCA is a co-creation program which brings together students and professionals. It offers diverse, custom-made training and experiences, particularly through the work of multidisciplinary teams on real cases to create innovative, relevant and sustainable solutions. The purpose is to provide innovation, creativity, and 21st century skills to our students, while offering solutions to the challenges faced by companies and other organizations (institutions and NGOs). It provides a real opportunity for students to develop their professional networks, professional reputation and employability.

The L@UCA project - Licence à l'Université Compétences et Adaptabilité (Undergraduate University Competencies and Adaptability) is a future investment program (PIA) grant obtained by Université Côte d'Azur, which aims to improve the level of success and career prospects of undergraduate students. A total of €9.9 million over 10 years has been allocated to strengthen orientation and guidance services, make curricula more flexible and for pedagogical transformation.

BoostUrCAreer project aims at implementing at Université Côte d’Azur a unique multidisciplinary doctoral programme in e-health relying on the 3 "I" principles: interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international to guarantee scientific excellence and professional development. In addition to having built strong links with SKEMA Business school since its creation, the MARRES MSc program is currently forming other partnerships and projects internationally with the universities of Montenegro, Hong Kong and Danang (in Vietnam). Through its local roots, MARRES has a specific focus on the conservation and enhancement of marine resources. The program has become a major asset and has helped to build parterships with similar structures from around the world who share common goals.

Deep learning school

Over the past 3 years, more than 1000 engineers, researchers and PhD students coming from the public and private sector have come together to share ideas and experiences at the Deep Learning school. This program, created to meet a growing demand from companies in the area, is intended for experts but also offers an introduction to Deep Learning for non-specialist scientists. 3IA Côte d'Azur certified, the program has since seen a 67% increase in attendance.

Free movers

MSc International Office (MIO) has proven to be a valuable asset in helping international students to get themselves settled within Université Côte d'Azur and the region. MIO provides administrative support at different levels (academic as well as social) and has helped our new students to find their way in France and to contribute to the society in their own way. Advice is available to students both on-campus and virtually, for students participating in online courses.

Summer schools

Under the auspices of UCAJEDI, Université Côte d'Azur now offers international summer school in its main areas of expertise. These events take place over the summer break, and welcome international students with diverse backgrounds who are likely, in the future, to enroll in Université Côte d'Azur education programs or join UCA research laboratories.
