EUR SPECTRUM Master’s Level Excellence Scholarship

A merit-based scholarship awarding €1,000 per month from September-June including internship stipends. International Students will have reduced registration fees similar to those of EU students.

This scholarship may not be combined with other scholarships offered by the university.

J.A. DIEUDONNÉ & EURO-MAGHREB LABORATORY M2 SCHOLARSHIP

The J.A. Dieudonné laboratory, in collaboration with the Euro-Maghreb Laboratory of Mathematics and Its Interactions (Lem2i), is offering scholarships for the second year of the Master's degree program.

Scholarship Details

Amount: €1000 per month for the academic year 2024-2025 (Sep - June), totaling €10,000. Aim: Strengthen the international orientation of the Master 2 Research (M2 MFA). Foreign recipients: Partial waiver of tuition fees.

How to Apply

Applications have to be submitted electronically, with A SINGLE zipped pdf-file to be sent via e-mail to boursemaster@unice.fr before SUNDAY MARCH 3rd, 2024 composed of:
 
  • A Curriculum Vitae of two pages maximum.
  • A cover letter, detailing how your chosen Master 2 MFA bloc aligns with your professional and personal aspirations. You can select courses from different blocs. The three available blocs are: Algebra and Geometry, Analysis, and Probability and Statistics. Visit the Master 2 website for program details. Having a doctoral project in line with J.-A. Dieudonné lab themes is advantageous.
  • An overview of your courses followed in 2023-2024, along with transcripts with grades and ranks for the Bachelor and Master1 (translated in English or French for foreign students). For foreign diplomas, a word of explanation on the grade system will be appreciated.
  • The email address of your previous Master 1 coordinator at your institution, and include the email of at least one more professor who can be contacted to write a recommendation letter. No recommendation letter should be joined to the file, we will contact the recommenders directly so make sure that they have been warned.
  • A copy of your passport.
Evaluation

Your application will be evaluated on the following criteria:

- Academic excellence
- Motivation and how well your profile aligns with the research and innovation standards of the J.-A. Dieudonné laboratory's Master MPA.

IMPORTANT: Foreign applicants often need to complete the Campus France student visa procedure. The deadline for initiating a Campus France application varies by country and may be earlier than the scholarship application deadline.
