As you know, all our MSc courses are fully taught in English and you will not need to know French to follow your MSc classes.
Nonetheless, you might want to get some basic skills or improve your knowledge of French to make your everyday life easier in the country. You will indeed notice that many people in France do not speak English or that public agencies do not have an English version for their websites.
As an MSc student, you will get access to free French lessons but you will also find quality resources to help you understand the French language in context.

Centres de Ressources en Langues (CRL)
The Language Resource Centers (Centres de Ressources en Langue, CRL) at Université Côte d'Azur serve as training facilities for students who want to improve their language skills. Each campus houses its own LRC, which remains open throughout the academic year.
The CRLs provide Université Côte d'Azur students with complimentary access upon registration.
They offer a wide range of language learning resources, totaling more than 3,000 materials suitable for all proficiency levels. These resources include textbooks, reference materials, periodicals, interactive CDs, DVDs, and websites.
The CRLs also offer activities to enrich the language learning experience. These include interactive workshops, themed conversational sessions, language-specific tasks, interactive and communicative exercises, guided autonomous learning paths, individual or group sessions based on proficiency levels, progress tracking, and assessment based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Each CRL features a team of student tutors who are available to assist learners in various aspects of language acquisition. They can provide support for language learning, exam preparation, language certification, and even preparing for study abroad programs.
