Join us for a film-debate at the Variétés cinema on 11 January, with a screening of Soylent Green followed by a discussion on eco-anxiety and a reading of the cherokee tale "The fifth dream".

The film-debate event will focus on Richard Fleischer's Soylent Green (1973), one of the first dystopias to consider the ecological impact of human activity, set in New York in 2022.
The the film screening will be followed by a debate on the theme of eco-anxiety, in the presence of:
Jean-Paul Aubert (Professor of Film History, Université Côte d'Azur)
Jean-Michel Benattar (Doctor, Faculty of Medicine, Nice)
Luigi Flora (Co-Director of the Centre d'Innovation du Partenariat avec les Patients et le Public, Faculté de Médecine de Nice)
And Johann Tetart (General Practitioner)
The event will close with the sharing of the Cherokee tale The 5th Dream, by storyteller Milao.
