Locavore" challenge, eating locally
At the end of November, OTECCA, in collaboration with the GAIA Association and AJC06, will be organizing a Locavore challenge: a meal prepared with local produce, within a 70km radius, with a maximum budget of €10/meal. The aim of this action is to raise awareness of eating better and locally, to analyze our individual consumption habits, and to promote local products and producers.

The Observatory for the Ecological and Civic Transition of the Côte d'Azur
As a science-society interface for the ecological and civic transition in the Alpes Maritimes, OTECCA (Observatory for the Ecological and Civic Transition of the Côte d'Azur) acts as a link between the academic world (researchers, scientific staff, students, etc.) and the extra-academic world (associations, local authorities, public players, etc.) through Participatory Action Research (PAR) projects in the region.
It acts both as a "Territorial Observatory" to identify, produce and share data to monitor the ecological transition in the region, and as a "Science Boutique" to incubate and support projects to increase the capacity for action of local players.
