More and more researchers are agreeing on the need for a radical form of sobriety to preserve the planet's habitability. But this form of sobriety clashes with the market logic that dominates our economy. Do we need to change our economic model? Can this be done gently, giving some breathing space to the sober solutions that are emerging: low-tech, agro-ecology, etc.?
