The first PhD Summer Camp organised in BoostUrCAreer programme for doctoral candidates took place on the Lérins Islands (Ile Sainte Marguerite) accessible by boat.
The event, organised by BoostUrCAreer Programme Office and the House of Europe & Territories, was also open to doctoral candidates from MIC - Erasmus+ international mobility programme.
The most courageous fellows took up the abseiling challenge, which sees you make a controlled descent of a vertical drop using specialist equipment!
This PhD Summer Camp was also the opportunity to follow several workshops on different topics: attractiveness and support for international doctoral candidates, as well as two workshops organised by the Association of Junior Researchers of Alpes-Maritimes (AJC06), about "How to manage the doctoral project despite the Covid-19", and about entrepreneurship.
The event allowed to multiply the meetings and exchanges between early-career researchers from various fields and to reinforce the links between them.
