Environment, Health, Citizens

This program aims to position the Université Côte d’Azur internationally in research on the connections between health and the environment by incorporating the social sciences.

Program objectives:

  1. Create a network of research groups able to propose innovative research both to analyze, in an interdisciplinary manner, the impact of the environment on health and to optimize the scientific, technological, socio-cultural, economic, and political contexts that will minimize the environmental risks weighing on human health.
  2. Fully integrate the role of public awareness into the analysis.
  3. Develop databanks and associated analysis tools.
  4. Promote the creation of start-ups in the field.
  5. Offer innovative training alongside this research.
  6. Support the dissemination of research results among decision-makers, the general public, and students, who will be the citizens of tomorrow.
