Prerequisites

In this course, we discuss various models of decision-making in both non-strategic and strategic environments. The former is based on the literature and recent advances of the Decision Theory, the latter is based on Game Theory. In discussing these models, we refer to the experimental literature that has tested the implications of these models and motivated new theoretical developments. Furthermore, we also discuss findings from the literature on Heuristics used in decision-making. The course adopts a hands-on training approach. Some lectures are given at the experimental platform "CoCoLab". Students take part in ad hoc laboratory experiments and are encouraged to discuss the outcomes of the experiments.
