Program structure & modules details

The MSc Biobanks and Complex Data Managementis a two-year program fully conducted in English. Throughout the program, students engage in two six-month in-company internships, gaining invaluable real-world exposure. With a curriculum comprising 12 teaching modules, participants accumulate a total of 120 ECTS by the program's conclusion.

Teaching and evaluation methods are designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Students engage in hands-on seminars, where they collaborate on group-based studies, analyzing concrete, current issues within biobanking and presenting their recommendations to faculty members. They will also learn the art of scientific poster creation, with their posters evaluated by lecturers as part of the Project Management module. Finally, to enhance internship search skills, internship market workshops cover topics such as CV presentation, assessment centers, and interview techniques.

In the 1st and 3rd semesters, written exams are usually conducted in December. Exams include multiple choice questions and short answer questions.During the 2nd and 4th semesters, students have to write an internship report after their six-month internship, followed by an oral defense to present their project to a jury.
