The MSc Engineers for Smart Cities at IMREDD - Université Côte d’Azur, celebrated the graduation ceremony of its cohorts as well as its 10-year anniversary. This milestone reflects the collective contribution of all those who have supported the program over the past ten years. As a new generation of graduates moves forward, they leave with more than a degree: they carry a community, a vision, and the responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the cities of tomorrow.
The event also provided an opportunity to introduce the alumni community. By sharing their professional journeys, alumni offered valuable insights and inspiration to current graduates. Their stories illustrated the wide range of career paths enabled by the program, from data science and doctoral research to project management and urban policy.
As part of its 10-year anniversary, the MSc announced the launch of the Smart Cities Expert Council, a natural evolution of the program. This new initiative aims to strengthen connections between academia and practice by bringing together alumni and industry professionals. Alumni and partners are invited to join this growing community.
The cohorts 2024 and 2025 had the honor of receiving their degrees from Centrale Méditerranée director, representing the first cohort to benefit from the joint degree program established in partnership in 2023, reinforcing the program’s academic partnerships.
The MSc team congratulates its graduates and looks forward to witnessing the future paths they will create.
