Université Côte d’Azur is reinforcing its commitment to integrity, fairness, and academic excellence through a new awareness campaign on academic honesty. Shared across all communication channels, the campaign aims to prevent misconduct and remind you of the risks and consequences associated.

To help you avoid missteps, we would like to highlight five high‑risk situations featured in our visuals on campus and online:

  • Unauthorized use of artificial intelligence

  • Impersonation

  • Digital cheat sheets

  • Plagiarism

  • Sharing information between candidates

The message is clear: cheating always has consequences.

In cases of fraud or attempted fraud, you may face sanctions such as

  • cancellation of the exam or session
  • removal from the exam room
  • or even expulsion from the institution

Beyond these penalties, academic dishonesty ultimately harms you. It diminishes the value of your degree and weakens the commitment you’ve made to your own learning and future.
