Martine Olivi is a Researcher at Inria Sophia-Antipolis. She earned her Engineering degree from the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne (1983) and a PhD in Mathematics from Université de Provence, Marseille (1987). She joined Inria in 1988.

Her research is based on systems theory, complex analysis, and function theory, and she has contributed to the design of digital tools for the synthesis and development of electronic communication devices. She is also active in scientific outreach, being one of the authors of the MOOC “Environmental Impacts of Digital Technologies” distributed by FUN (France Université Numérique).

She chairs the Local Commission for Sustainable Development at the Inria Center of Université Côte d’Azur and is a member of the GDS EcoInfo (CNRS).
