Make your voice heard on climate and environmental issues!
As part of the annual On the Road to the Climate COP initiative, Université Côte d’Azur is launching an academic advocacy competition open to all its students, focusing on environmental issues and their impacts.
How to participate
The competition invites interested students to write a structured and well-argued text on the challenges of climate change and its societal, economic, and environmental impacts. Submissions must be sent by December 3, 2025, at midnight to be eligible for this year’s competition. Texts received after this date will be considered for the following year.
All submissions will be reviewed and approved by a Université Côte d’Azur committee, then published in Open Science on the University’s website.
Two advocacy essays will be selected and awarded by the committee. Their authors will be invited to take part in an international negotiation session as accredited United Nations observers (SB Bonn 2026 — see the feedback from last year’s awarded PhD student). They will also be invited to participate in events organized by the University as part of future editions of On the Road to the Climate COP.
