Make your voice heard on climate and environmental issues!
Université Côte d’Azur, an observer of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), continues its En Route to COP Climate initiative as part of its science diplomacy strategy. This approach aims to position scientific actors to influence multilateral political decision-making.
In this context, a new call for contributions is launched for academic advocacy pieces addressing environmental issues and their impacts.
This call serves both as an educational tool that teachers can integrate into their courses and as a civic initiative enabling everyone to express themselves on these critical issues—rigorously and supported by scientific data.
Dissemination and recognition of your commitment
All contributions will be reviewed and approved by an academic committee of Université Côte d’Azur, then published in Open Science on the University’s website.
The most relevant publications and their authors may be recognized and rewarded with participation in major international meetings (such as the SB sessions in Bonn) and in events organized by the University, particularly within the En Route to COPClimate framework.
How to participate
Open throughout the academic year, this initiative invites students, PhD candidates, faculty members, researchers, and administrative staff to write a structured and well-argued text on the challenges of climate change and its societal, economic, and environmental impacts.
Advocacy papers (2 to 3 pages, free format, in English or French) can be sent to:
