Thibaut Malausa is a research director at the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (INRAE), in Sophia Antipolis (Université Côte d’Azur). He obtained his PhD in Ecology and Evolution at the University of Toulouse III. His research focuses on the biology of insect populations in agroecosystems, and on the large-scale deployment of biological control strategies against crop pests and pathogens. He is the scientific coordinator of the French public-private research-development-innovation consortium on biological control. He is also involved in the coordination of large European and international initiatives aiming at promoting agroecology and reducing the use of chemical inputs in agriculture.
