Sylvain Antoniotti is co-leader of Université Côte d’Azur's delegation. He is Vice-president of Université Côte d'Azur in charge of the Initiative of Excellence, Director of Research at CNRS and Director of the Institute for Innovation and Partnerships (2IP) Flavour, Fragrance, and Cosmetics. He obtained his PhD in chemical sciences in 2003 from Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, followed by post-doctoral stays at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY, USA), and Chimie Paristech. In 2005, he was appointed CNRS research fellow at the future Institut de Chimie de Nice where he founded his research group in 2012. Promoted research director in 2017, he oversees topics connected to sustainable chemistry and fragrance chemistry. In 2016, he was elected president of the scientific board of the ERINI platform in Grasse, and one year later, started the development of what became in 2020, the 2IP Flavour, Fragrance, and Cosmetics. He joined the board of the IdEx in 2020 as strategic director and was further appointed Vice-President in 2021.
