Prerequisites

Description

After an introduction to the mathematical system theory, discrete models are presented and students learn how to simulate them using different time managements (clock-based and/or discrete events), stochastic generators, and basic parallelization techniques. Activity-based learning is also studied as a metaphor of neuronal learning.
