Make your voice heard on climate and environmental issues!
As part of the annual “En route pour la COP Climat” initiative, Université Côte d’Azur is launching an academic advocacy competition open to all its students, focusing on environmental issues and their impacts.
How to participate
Students are invited to write a structured and well-argued advocacy paper addressing climate change and its societal, economic and environmental impacts. To be eligible for the competition, submissions must be sent by midnight on 15 December 2026. Submissions received after this deadline will be considered for the following year's competition.
Advocacy papers (2 to 3 pages, free format, following these guidelines, in either English or French) should be sent to:
Submissions will be reviewed and approved by a committee at Université Côte d’Azur and then published as Open Science contributions on the University’s website.
Two advocacy papers will be selected and awarded by the committee. Their authors will be invited to take part in an international climate negotiation session as accredited United Nations observers.
Winners will also be invited to take part in events organized by the University as part of future editions of “En route pour la COP Climat.”
