    Understanding rare genetic diseases using genetic code expansion
    A study published by Michèle Studer's team at the Institut de Biologie Valrose in the journal Protein Science in April 2024, proposes a new approach to understanding the molecular basis of genetic diseases, by linking specific mutations in the NR2F1 gene to the varied symptoms of BBSOAS patients. These advances could also have important applications for the study of other genetic diseases.

    Charlotte Richard and Marion Ferrandez y Montesinos, winners of the Côte d'Azur "My thesis in 180 seconds" final
    Charlotte Richard (1st Jury Prize) and Marion Ferrandez y Montesinos (Audience Prize) are the winners of the 11th edition of the Côte d'Azur final of the "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" competition organized by Université Côte d'Azur, at the Maison de l'Etudiant on Thursday March 21, 2024. The two candidates will go on to Paris to take part in the national semi-final to be held from March 28 to 30.
