"MSc RISKS has been the best experience of my career and life. The interdisciplinary environment of the program allows us to learn to tackle the geo-environmental risks from different perspectives, and the wide variety of high-level lecturers introduce us to different approaches using various technical tools in the field. The internship part was fantastic, it gave me the opportunity to apply what I learned in a Seismic Risk project at Université Gustave Eiffel in Paris. This allowed me to explore another academic environment and to increase my networking and friends who I share the same passions with."

OUR GRADUATES
''The MSc Risks program brings together many different scientific disciplines and diverse people. These different aspects complement each other and prepare the students for the complexity of environmental phenomena and problems. The program dives into a range of environmental hazards and the associated risks, providing both the theoretical knowledge needed to understand these but also linking them back to reality. Combining the practical aspect of risk management, for instance through training with fire fighters gives the students a feeling of the urgency and intricacies of managing environmental hazards.''
Fabienne, Netherlands
Fabienne is currently completing a PhD at Ca'Foscari University in Venice, Italy, with a dual affiliation as a research fellow at the CMCC foundation.
"After graduating from the MSc RISKS program, I find that my knowledge and skills have expanded considerably. As a biologist, it has helped me to integrate my understanding of the ecological and geological processes that shape human interactions with the environment. I am now better qualified to develop comprehensive projects that lead to improved human safety and well-being, as well as ecosystem resilience. I appreciate the professional experience gained throughout the two internships, which allowed me to land a job right after finishing my master's degree."

''The Environmental field is a multidisciplinary field of which many courses are taught worldwide. Having chosen to study the MSc Environmental Hazards and Risks Management at Université Côte d'Azur is a decision that I am proud of. This course aims to bridge the gap that exists between practical and integrated understanding of risks management and skills in modelling processes and scenarios. Through this course I have the certainty of being part of future environmental risks management projects and bringing about significant changes.''
Antoine, Congo
