Jean-Christophe Martin
Jean-Christophe Martin is a Professor of International and European Law, focusing primarily on legal issues related to peace and security, maritime law, and sustainable development. He has served as Director of the Institute for Peace and Development (IdPD) at Université Côte d’Azur since 2015 and holds a UNESCO Chair in “Peace and Development through Law” (P2D) since 2022.
He also played a key role in the internationalization of Université Côte d’Azur from 2012 to 2019 as Vice President for International Affairs. Drawing on both this experience and his expertise in international law and international relations, he focuses on scientific diplomacy, particularly the contribution of universities to global peace and development.
