Grégoire Leray has been a Professor of Private Law at Université Côte d’Azur since 2019, after two years as a Lecturer at the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté. He holds a PhD in Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (thesis: “Real Estate and the Protection of Nature”, 2016, supervised by F.-G. Trébulle, awarded the 2017 George Ripert Prize by the Chancellerie des Universités de Paris).

At Université Côte d’Azur, he serves as Vice-Dean for Research at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, is co-responsible for the Master’s program in Environmental Economic Law, and previously directed the Center for Studies and Research in Procedural Law (UPR 1201). He specializes in the private law aspects of environmental law.
