What are the conditions for writing a thesis?

Your doctoral application is based on several essential elements :

1. Hold a Master's degree or another diploma conferring the degree of Master, at the end of a trainig course establishing apptitude for research. If you don't have a French diploma conferring the degree of Master, you must apply for equivalence from the doctoral school you wish to join.

2. Have contact with a thesis director authorized to supervise research (HDR) and a host laboratory, and have obtained their agreement to register for a thesis.

3. Ha ve defined a doctoral research project (thesis subject). Il should be noted that most laboratories, university research schools and doctoral schools post on their site (not exhaustive) list of the sthesis subjects they offer.

4. According to the doctoral schools, have obtained funding for the thesis duration.
